Kadambari Baxi, architect and educator based in New York, works on design, media and spatial projects.
As a professor practice in architecture at Barnard + Columbia Architecture Department at Barnard College, Columbia University, she teaches design studios and environmental visualizations seminars.
Her research-based architectural practice is in partnership with Reinhold Martin. Their work, co-authored as Martin / Baxi Architects, is excerpted in two books: Multi-National City: Architectural Itineraries (Actar, Spain, 2007) and Entropia (Black Dog Publishing, London, 2001).
She is a co-founder of the advocacy group: WBYA? (Who Builds Your Architecture?) and serves on the board of The Architecture Lobby.
Kadambari was born in New Delhi. She votes in New York.
